Leave matter, Subomi Plumptre and others are well within their rights + more on The Slab with Isime

It’s The Slab with(out) Isime this week – we have Emeka Nwankwo hosting the crew – Tolu, Roqeebah, and Biodun – this time.

The topic? Bobrisky’s suitability (or not) for the New Media, Citizens and Governance Conference organized by Enough is Enough Nigeria in Abuja on Thursday. Is it alright to lump ‘professionals’ like Subomi Plumptre of Alder Consulting and Bashir Ahmed, Presidential Adviser on New Media, with Bobrisky, an internet sensation, on the same panel? Is it justifiable for panelists to pull out of the event when they did? Do they deserve the social media backlash that followed their pulling out? Why did the organizers stick with a guest that clearly made other guests uncomfortable?
Well, you’ll get answers to these questions and more on The Slab.
The Slab is a weekly gabfest offering a newsroom perspective on trending issues in the past week.
