Cargo aircraft with four persons missing in Indonesia

The Indonesia Transport Ministry on Monday said a cargo aircraft with four people on board had gone missing in Indonesia’s Papua province.

The ministry spokesman, Bambang Ervan, said the DHC-4 Caribou, was flying from Timika to Ilaga in Papua’s central highlands when it lost contact around midnight on Sunday.
Report says plane accidents are common in jungle-clad Papua, which relies on air transport because of limited road networks.
